So in this article I’ll discuss a bit about videos marketing to achieve traffic and conversion.
Video has become a huge medium online. YouTube is now considered the second largest search engine in the world next to Google but it also gets twice as many daily views as Google! So YouTube also ticks the traffic box nicely and it’s free traffic which makes it even sweeter! You can also post your video to numerous other video sites easily using sites like Traffic Geezer and Tube Mogul. So obviously you don’t want to overlook videos marketing as a traffic source.
The following are seven effective tips for effective videos marketing:
1. Choose your title (and keyword) carefully and make sure it is frequently searched for but the competition isn’t too high (see my article on Google keyword tool for this).
2. The keyword should also be put in the filename
3. It is not easy for google to spot duplicate video content (unlike in the case of text), so why not put the same video on multiple accounts with a different title, description, keyword and filename.
4. Set up multiple YouTube accounts with your videos, you can put the same videos on all accounts if you want.
5. Have your video as a video response to popular videos of the same niche.
6. Post your videos on your social networks for your friends and followers to see. It can also be quite effective to post the video on the social networks of popular people or groups (if you’re in the dog training niche; post your video on a group to do with dog training).
7. The first thing you should put in the description box is a link to where you want your traffic to go; be this a product or your opt in page etc.
